SUNWARD is a designer and manufacturer of construction machinery equipment, with a huge choice of products conceived with innovation for being the best answer to the client’s needs in every part of the world. We have three main lines: 1. Hydraulic excavators and loaders (compact and heavy) and first electric excavators. 2. Telescopic cranes and lifting scissors. 3. Drilling rigs.
Created in 1999 by Professor He Quinghua, in China, the group has developed, with a great capacity for innovation, wide ranges in response to the technical and operational needs of their customers.
After conquering the main public works players in China, SUNWARD launched its international activity in 2015 in Asia, America, Africa, and Europe as a challenger, with a global and local approach: its own spare parts depot, its sales and after-sales teams, financial solutions, training and technical support, presence through local distributors.
Since then, our market shares have grown with agility and sustainability.
Your mission
In this context, for our USA headquarter, established in Texas (USA), we are looking for our:
USA Drilling Business Unit Manager
Construction Equipment
We entrust you with a broad mission with a real delegation of responsibilities, decision-making power, and support from the skills of our world headquarter.
You develop a strategic plan that you refine with the CEO and implement with the BU.
You are in charge of all aspects: Management, Budget, Sales, Market, Teams, Products, Finances,
You anticipate risks (technical, financial, legal, contractual, customer relations, etc.) to implement preventive actions for lasting success. You configure the entire structure to be able to seize great market opportunities.
You organize your time, 50 to 60% traveling (clients, exhibitions, headquarters) and 40 to 50% in Home Office.
You
Your qualities and motivations: With an engineering or business background, you have more than 5 years of experience in our industry, with management of pluri-disciplinary teams and business development through a dealers’ network. You have also practiced sales to equipment rental companies. You are an open-mind person. You have a communicative positive energy with a lot of reliability. You like to delegate, support and lead teams to success by practicing recognition. You are comfortable with IS (ERP, databases). You are looking to live a professional passion, in start-up and agile mode, in a demanding, ambitious group with means.
